FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I'VE REACHED OUT - WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

I try to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours.

I offer all clients an initial consultation which is free of charge. This can take place either online via Zoom or by telephone.

Our initial consultation will allow us to get to know one another, and to ensure that we both feel comfortable in moving forward.

WHAT WILL OUR FIRST SESSION BE LIKE?

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another better.

We will explore your hopes for counselling, how we can work together to achieve your goals, and I can answer any questions you may have.

WHAT KIND OF SESSIONS CAN YOU OFFER?

I offer in-person counselling sessions on Mondays and Thursdays. Both premises are based in the Chester area.

I can also offer counselling online, via Zoom, or telephone counselling.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

It is your decision as to how many sessions you would like to have.

I have experience in offering short-term counselling (6 - 12 sessions) and long term counselling. We can work together to discuss a plan that will suit you and your therapy needs.

You will never be tied in to a set amount of sessions.

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

My rate is £55 per session.

If you wish to pay for a block of sessions up front, please contact me to discuss this.

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED URGENT HELP?

I cannot provide urgent or crisis support.

If you need urgent assistance for your mental health and wellbeing, it is vital that you contact your GP or attend your local A&E Department.

The Samaritans are always available if you need to talk - the number is 116 123
